1. Book your makeup & hair (MUAH) artist
Tiffany Purdy
(408) 614-5589
purdyfaces@gmail.com
Notes: Tiffany is an agency represented professional who does makeup and hair for actors and models for commercial and editorial work. She's a pro at camera-ready looks. Ask her about actually attending your shoot- she loves being there to make sure you look perfect the entire time!
Lisa Teller
(510) 299-7386
lisa@lisateller.com
www.lisateller.com
Notes: Lisa does commercial/editorial work and ad campaigns during the week and often weddings on Saturdays. You can see if she's free for your Saturday shoot, but Sundays are more likely. She's wonderful at clean/natural looks, offers airbrush makeup (which is especially great if you struggle with acne) and is super nice. She also loves attending shoots.
Alex Sulano
**Alex is currently only available for Saturday & Sunday shoot days.**
alexandria.sulano@gmail.com
925-474-7226
Notes: I work with Alex a lot. She's an amazing professional. A lot of my clients who book her also end up booking her for ball.

2. Insider Tips for Working with Pro MUAH Artists
3. The Locations Guide
Check out this guide before your planning call and start thinking about which venues you like best!
4. The Senior Questionnaire
Seniors: before the planning call, please fill out the questionnaire. My sessions are highly customized and this is hugely important to help us make the most of our time together! (This is fast and easy- you can do it on your phone!)
5. What to Wear?!?
Fundamental good advice:
- Make sure you have the right bra for each look. Move around: do the straps show?
- Wear pants or shorts for at least one of your looks. This will give us more posing options than if all your outfits are dresses/skirts.
- Hey Shortie! Check the length of dresses, skirts & rompers when you are sitting down. Can you sit comfortably without showing off more than you'd like?
- Want your legs to look longer? Focus on your shoes! If you are wearing dark jeans, wear a dark bootie with a heel. If you are wearing a dress or skirt, nude heels are perfect for a formal look. Or nude espadrilles for a more casual look.
- Extras! Hats are a great prop- even if you aren't wearing it, a hat is fun to hold. Sunglasses- bring along your favorite pair for a few shots. Jackets/scarves: these are great ways to mix things up and add texture.
- Jewelry: definitely wear it if it has special meaning to you. But apart from that, bolder pieces will show up better on camera. You'll see a delicate necklace in a tight headshot, but not in a full-body.

6. Wall Art Design
Parents, one of the services that I provide is helping you design the perfect wall art collections for your home(s). This can incorporate existing artwork & future artwork (anticipating younger children's senior year portraits). Please text me a cell phone picture of a wall in your home where you would like wall art and I will be able to show you examples to scale. See the instructions below for taping a piece of standard printer paper up for the shot. (925) 201-9061.
